We provide low-cost furniture, electrical and other household items to people on low incomes and/or in receipt of income based benefits.

The need, for this type of community service, was identified by working with people of all ages in the community. It became clear that Sedgemoor required somewhere where low income families could gain access to good quality household items without the expense of having to buy new furniture, white goods and other household necessities

With financial help from local enterprises Sedgemoor Furniture Store was created in January 2003 and has grown to become a self sustaining charity that funds its operations through the sale of donated furniture, white goods and other household items to low income persons and those in receipt of benefits.
